About the event
Hosted by Johnny Nicholas and joined by longtime friends Ben Beckendorf and Billy Burdett, this monthly gathering brings together the songs and stories that came out of Fredericksburg in the 1980s, including moments from the Broke Again sessions and the recording that became known as The Bedroom Tapes.
Each month will feature a different theme, pulling from the musicians, late nights, and characters that defined that time. Some nights will revisit specific albums or recording sessions, others will center around the people and stories that shaped the scene.
It is part live music, part storytelling, and part reunion. A room full of familiar faces, shared history, and the kind of stories that only come from people who were there.
Johnny, Ben, and Billy will be at the center of it every month, joined by special guests along the way.
