You've stood with us and witnessed firsthand the grinding pressure that excessive and unnecessary regulations can put on small businesses like ours in rural Texas. Our State Representative, Ellen Troxclair, heard our concerns, and has introduced a crucial piece of legislation: House Bill 5605 (HB 5605).

This legislation is the path forward, designed to bring relief and a dose of reason to these regulatory battles for Hilltop Cafe and for many others in Gillespie county facing similar struggles with the TCEQ.
